In short: Over promised, under delivered. In detail: The two stars are for the convincing sales pitch by both directors. Unfortunately, the service delivered after sign-up did not reflect what was sold by a long shot. During the initial consultation, we made it very clear to Jodi that one of our key goals was business GROWTH. More than two months into the engagement, we were then advised that organic growth is not actually their area of speciality - something that should have been communicated upfront. In their own words they are better at 'maintaining' an online presence so if you want increased sales or growth (seriously, who doesn't?) look elsewhere. We also raised concerns early on about dealing with multiple rotating staff members and the lack of continuity that can create. We were assured this would not be an issue. In a very short timeframe, however, we have already dealt with two different people managing website updates and hand overs between three separate others handling organic content. We were assured the third person dealing with our socials was experienced yet was listed as an Executive Assistant on their own website so didn't feel our account was in the hands of experienced professionals as was suggested. One of the primary website updates suggested by Ben was the addition/update of our stockist map, yet this was omitted from the first round of deliverables entirely and had to be followed up. During website changes, our order numbering system was also altered without any prior notification. A separate issue resulted in customers being unable to place orders for a period of time. Later there was an issue with credit card payments not being accepted. A Google Review feed was installed as a new feature but won’t update to reflect new reviews. Reached out and followed instruction provided but without any success - feedback was to ask for more $$. The organic/social content contained spelling mistakes and typos, feedback provided was not implemented correctly, and on one occasion the original incorrect version was still scheduled for posting. A time-sensitive post was also missed entirely. It was flagged by the team themselves as "the most important post that month" for our business but was not published and simply replaced by a generic post in the next batch. Now in the process of off-boarding and the last TikTok post that was meant to be scheduled earlier this week still has not been posted at this time. Overall, the experience has been disappointing, with poor communication, lack of attention to detail, and failure to deliver key services that were discussed during the sales process. We've been given a refund for the last month but that doesn't replace the time and effort invested nor reverse the decline we've seen in our engagement. Having to supply all content (almost to publication standard) as they only do 'very basic editing' and needing to rewrite captions makes using the agency an extremely expensive “scheduling tool”. Unfortunately this has been a regrettable business decision for our company, has cost us sales and downtime. Would not recommend.
